sweet.

I have a friend who started on vinyl turntables and little over a year after, he wants to make the switch to digital.  Told him some options and he's probably gonna get Torq Xponent as well.

yeah i love mine and the 2nd one that i got (from ebay) has much firmer sliders and knobs. i talked to m-audio support and they said that some of the older models had crappy knobs / sliders but the newer ones were stronger. i guess guitar center stocked the crappy ones  Cheesy

thank God for ebay

Shoot, and all I was thinkin I'd need is a couple turntables, a mixer and a pair of Serato records and then I could use vinyl to scratch mp3's and beatmatch and stuff, but now the torq is sounding soooo cool.  I still need a job and some money first though.

Can anybody help a guy out to get some DJing gigs??  I'm fairly new to all this.. what do you do...take promo mix cds and give them out to clubs and stuff??  Just point me to the right thread or whatever...I'll avoid getting off-topic if possible.
