my experience is that TF is NOT a good place to get constructive comments on your mixes.....

generally people here are more interested in joking around or the age difference between a superstar DJ and his future wife....

I'll try to give you mix a listen...

Thats not true Jostie, TF has some of the best criticism out there. Theres two kinds of music in the world good and bad, everyone has an opinion and they all differ from one another. If you really love what you do, then what other people have to say shouldnt bother or make a difference. Opinions are like ears, everyone has them. MAD P.L.U.R.  laugh laugh

"generally people here are more interested in joking around or the age difference between a superstar DJ and his future wife...."

What does that mean exactly, not everyone here is joking around we do it alot, but its not deemeen or belittle anyone. Its all done in good fun, BTW I AM a super start DJ... how did u know?HuhHuh??  ROFL  laugh

On a serious note Josti, done be upset, keep those mixes coming dude.  Lips Sealed

Thats not true Jostie
It's not a question about wheter I am right or wrong. I'm just sharing my experience.

"generally people here are more ..."

not everyone here is joking around

results for: generally

1. usually; commonly; ordinarily: He generally comes home at noon.
2. with respect to the larger part; for the most part: a generally accurate interpretation of the facts.
3. without reference to or disregarding particular persons, things, situations, etc., that may be an exception: generally speaking.

I'm not upset, just dissappointed.

I gave it a listen, so I am not going to lie, no offense but I just was feeling it at all. I dont mean that because it wasnt hard or fast, that would have helped slightly, but not very much. You did a good job on the mixing though, try mixing up some Minimal Techno, that would be cool.

Thanks for the feedback.
I forgot to say it was mixed live at Why Not? (my saturday night residency) before Christmas, and it was a warm up.

I have to admit im not a big fan of minimal - there's just not enough going on
; ). Thats just the speed i play at - rarely goes above 127 bpm.
