My bro just got a Korg Zero 4 mixer and it is awesome!  The faders are like silk.  The EQ's are so clear and precise.  You can cut the highs and it doesn't cut out part of the mids like a lot of EQ's on mixers do.  I believe that it can be used for an interface for either SSL or Traktor (We haven't got that far yet). And it can be used as a midi controller as well.  Each channel has its own effects.  There is also a master effects that you can put over the whole mix. The master effects has its own fader as well which I thought was cool.  It has several fader options.  You can even reverse the upfaders.  It has four channels with lots of possibilities. The kill switch for each channel is spring loaded. There are quarter inch hook ups for each channel too.  Oh yeah.  All the knobs light up with Led lights either orange or green!  I will let you know more about it as we dig into it.

My main beef with it is the price. I mean, that's a $1,300 mixer. If you specifically don't need the midi control functionality, you don't need that mixer.

I believe that he got it for 970 plus tax.  I will let him use my serato program so he will have saved like 500 there.  Oh, the manual said under no circumstances should you hook up two computers to it.  I don't know what that's about yet.  But it said you can daisy chain them.  I want to try and use reason with it and see how that works out.
