I just picked up some staples CD/DVD labels. I'm not sure how to correctly print them though. I have Nero but I don't know how to align them so it prints right where the sticker is. There are two places to print on each paper...

somewhere on the cover the labels came in, they should list what software you can use to print these on...and usually you can get that software free online via Avery.com or whoever they use for their template Most likely it will be Avery.

The labeling software that I use has a calibration function. Basically, you print the labels (on regular 8.5x11 so that you're not wasting your real labels), then you make adjustments in the software based on where the printing actually turned out on the page.

Place the 8.5x11 page overtop your label page, hold it up toward a light if you need to, and see how the print on the top page lines up with the labels on the bottom page, then adjust the calibration. Repeat until your labels print in the right place, then print them on the label page.

Two people drift in a lifeboat. One says, "I see an island. Our best chance is to go ashore, build a shelter, and await rescue." The others says, "No, we must go farther out to sea and hope to find the shipping lanes." Unable to agree, the two fight, the lifeboat capsizes, and they drown.
