a roommate has brain tumor

One of the ladies I am rooming with has a brain tumor. Things do not look good unless the Lord does a creative miracle. She was scheduled for surgery Thursday at Loma Linda, an extremely well sought after hospital in the world. The doctors thought they would be able to remove it via the nose/sinus cavity but when they biopsied the tissue it is cancerous and it has gone further into the sinus cavity. They halted surgery due to bleeding and until they know what type of cancer it is then they will decide what treatment. Because of the extent of the tumor it does not look very good unless God makes a way!

Her name is Kathy and she is in her mid 50's. She previously had colon cancer and they are suspecting this may be the culprit.
Please pray the Lord would make a way and heal her and add years to her life.

The latest is she is having radiation done. Where the tumor is located and with the radiation will mean she may lose her eyesight on the right side. Please pray the Lord would encourage her and give her strength and that God would use this time to bring any other healing as well.

Continue to pray for Kathy. She is having a difficult time right now. She is very very tired all
of the time. Also, she is really starting to lose her hair all of a sudden. And we don't know to what
extent because it wasn't suppose to happen with the chemo. It was supposed to happen when she was
taking the radiation. So..it is all a mystery. Also, she has a very bad problem with the sinus congestion
probably due to the tumor because she has never had this sort of trouble before. So she does
need a lot of prayer.

Just thought I would fill you in.

Kathy was put into the hospital today in extreme pain and for another blood transfusion. 2nd in a week. She has been in a lot of pain this week, and seems so much weaker each day. Please just pray for her that the Lord will touch her and give her the strength to fight this awful disease. A new MRI has showed 2 new growths. It doesn't look good.

Things have taken a bad turn. Kathy was having abdominal pain for the past 2 weeks. The doctor passed it off as gas and that she needed more fiber. She was rushed to the hospital last night. Her intestine had ruptured and has been poisoning her.

Kathy had colon cancer a few years back where they removed about 70% of it.

They did surgery this morning to remove the last of her colon.

We are praying that Gods will be done and God knows how many days she has left.
