It's a big mistake. Personally, I haven't noticed the mistake yet, but I skip the intro credits anyway.

I don't have any stock in my theory either.

It's a good theory, I just don't think that's what's happening.

The voiceover says "It has sent machines back through time, some to kill him, one to protect him."

If that were true it would make your theory spot on.

I think they were just too lazy to mention skynet didn't send cameron back, it was actually the resistance.  They had probably had something to that affect in there and it was edited down to what it is now so the intro wasn't so long.

You should be able to catch what you missed here:
http://www.fox.com/fod/

That would be a great idea, but US networks don't let us non-american's watch these feeds ... so I downloaded it (which is legal in Canada and that makes up for not being able to see feeds from Fox, etc.) instead.  Liked it!

Yay Canada!  I just found out my local station stopped broadcasting "Jericho" so it's off to the torrents I go with a clean conscience.  Wink

Anyhow, the part with Johnny Cash's "When the Man Comes Around" was pure visual poetry.  Good times.

I think the storyline is amazing now. I think they've really mastered their characters. I've always enjoyed the 'emotional' moments of the Terminator series, because they aren't expected but they bring humanity and realizm to the stories.

I'm also very impressed with how much the special effects have improved. Some of the stuff in the first two episodes were just AWFUL. But that has completely flipped. The cinematography is great, and the sci-fi effects are too. Really proud of the series!

Looking forward to next year now......

Two people drift in a lifeboat. One says, "I see an island. Our best chance is to go ashore, build a shelter, and await rescue." The others says, "No, we must go farther out to sea and hope to find the shipping lanes." Unable to agree, the two fight, the lifeboat capsizes, and they drown.

Hwoo! So I've finally caught up with the past three episodes.

i think the turk is skynets mother.  hurt

Then what of Deep Blue. o_0

[...]
cameron doing the ballet and derek watched and was like..."WTFudge?  smiley23"

Or perhaps it has something to do with Derek's flashback to the time he was being held prisoner by a Terminator.
The music that Cameron dances too sounds suspiciously similar to the music being played in the dark basement Derek was sent to.

There was also the cryptic exchange between Derek and Cameron:

Derek: I know who you are.
Cameron: I know who you are too.

--

Summer Glau is a skilled dancer. I'm glad she had the opportunity to further exhibit her talent in that particular episode.

--

The cliffhanger for this Season's Finale was good. I liked it very much. Especially The Man In Black's music. Smiley
I want to know what happens to Cameron. I hope they're not just writing Summer Glau out so they can replace her with some other actress.

Nah, she's part of what makes the show, they'll keep her.  The big question is whether the show gets renewed or not...

More importantly, I want to know if she ever goes to the Prom with Morris.
