Thanks, kneesh! You and Ekkoh both were great at making me feel welcome and helping me to lighten up.

And to show what a total geek I am, I figured out how long it would take me to reach 10,000 posts if I keep posting at my current rate. The happy event would occur around September 5, 2014.

Two people drift in a lifeboat. One says, "I see an island. Our best chance is to go ashore, build a shelter, and await rescue." The others says, "No, we must go farther out to sea and hope to find the shipping lanes." Unable to agree, the two fight, the lifeboat capsizes, and they drown.

eh, my dad is older than you, he's gonna be 50 this year in may.  He really doesnt look it and he listens to most of the music I listen to still.

That's the kind of dad I want to be. No so much worried about looking younger though. I started going salt-n-pepper in grad school in the mid-90s. My daughter (Cool and I don't listen to much of the same music unfortunately. She's more into pop and [shudder] country.

The kids don't mind listening to my stuff occasionally if it means that they can flail about the living room "dancing". laugh

man, what genre differences, of course, mom is like your daughter in that aspect, she listens to comptemporary christian and country, use to listen to some N'Sync and so.

oh dear... i think we should all pray for her Wink

Please do! Her bus driver plays the stuff. I knew having her ride the school bus was a bad idea!

oh yes, we will.  I know the feeling, my boss listens to country and bluegrass, when his wife isnt there, he blares it.

But I look at it this way, old farts like me give the youngsters hope for their future. I'm almost 40 (I turned 39 just before Christmas) and still haven't started listening to Lawrence Welk and Perry Como yet!

x2....heh. NoNo....40 = ya ADORE listening to hardcore INDUSTRIAL music. w000h00000.

oops.
