Hey Dave - did you and Doug take any of these results into consideration when selecting artist for the Afterhours this year?

Some, but not all. Some people stuff the box at the end.

Actually the way that Cornerstone set it up - it looks pretty difficult to stuff someones box other than just asking other people to vote a certain way - unless I'm missing something...

you just have different email accounts and do it that way.  guys get disqualified from mixdisk competitions all the time for doing it from the same IP address.  Im sure cornerstone if they actually were doing something official would do this.  I really believe it is mainly just for fun.  A small amount of stock can be put into it.

I will let you know though...I personally did NO campaign and did not vote for myself but twice.  I can obviously tell by the list of bands though that high...lot of quick yahoo, gmail, and whatever accounts were started in an attempt to get a booking.

yeah - I tried voting for Sheltershed more than once an it would not allow it - that is one reason I thonught it might be more legit. It does seem kind of silly to go to all the trouble to get around by creating a bunch of email accounts it in order to get more votes especially if it does not return any "fruit"...

Why do you guys make a big thing about stats?

If I show up and rock one persons world and the other 99% think I'm crap then that's good enough for me  Smiley
