Hey all,

I'd love your prayers for our friend Christina. She was holidaying in NZ and got in a bad car accident. She's been in a coma for a few weeks, but is now awake. Physically she's OK, a couple of broken bones but nothing major. The real area of concern is her brain, with her drifting in and out of coherency. She can sometimes respond clearly to questions, and othertimes kindof just drifts off and seems to not know anyone is there. She's in a rehab clinic at the moment, and they're just slowely trying to coax her brain back into life.

Thanks all!

Blessings,
Pudd

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now I’m found.
Was blind, but now I see.

We visited her again yesterday and she was much the same, but we dropped off some pictures and talked briefly. We'll try and see her again in a few days, I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for your prayers.

Yeah, oddly we are in NZ at the moment on holiday also. You can imagine our surprise when we got an email saying our friend is in a hospital a few minutes away... and we're all on the far side of the world.

We're hoping to visit again in 2 days.

Visited her again just now. She's really relaxed, which is a nice change as up until now she gets quite agitated every 5 or 6 minutes. So that seems to have passed. She seems to be recognizing us the whole time as well, so that's an improvement. No speech yet, but it'll come.

Thanks all.
