Hi,

I did a mix for the Tastyfresh Podcast this month. And I was curious what people think.

A few questions:
What did you think of the track selection?
What did you think of the mixing?
What did you think of the content (vocals and moods)?
How did it make you feel?

Other comments are also welcome, off course!  Grin

Thanks!

I haven't listened yet, but the playlist looks excellent. I also know that you strive for the best Joost, so it can't be very bad.  Wink

Cool , I gave it a listen, and not bad. Definately needs to be faster other than that good stuff.

Mike, you need to realize that not every DJ will play fast stuff like you like. Geesh. Give the guy a break. I still have not had a chance to listen. I will pop it in my winamp and listen to it right now.

I know that not every DJ, will not play everything that I would like to hear. Faster is not always best, sometimes it can even be annoying, that is completely understandable. Its a good mix dont get me wrong, it made me smile.

Hey Mike and dj404,

Thanks for listening, how about those questions I asked in the first post?

Anyone else get a chance to listen?

Happy 2008 everyone!

i hesitate to post anything negative about tracks or mixsets unless people really really ask for it or I personally know them pretty good.

Ok...

I thought it was pretty just alright.  I was a little just nonchalant with this.  It did not take me on a journey at all.  I did see the original track list when it was posted before being taken down and I spin about 20-30% of the tracks you used in the set.  It sounded like you picked 12-15 tracks out and just went for it on the mixing.  The mixing of the set was spot on.  No complaints there.  In fact 3 of the mixes were in my opinion very close to perfect as to when you brought them in and levels and things like that Cool.  Your track selection is good and you should receive kudos on that Lips Sealed.  A couple of the tracks sounded a little to minimal to be included in your uplifting/melodic/disco house set.  I was a little lost on the vibe in general.

so yeah just one humble man's opinion.  If you ever want to send me a link to a mix i'll listen to it and give you some more opinions if you would like. hug

To be honest . . . . really really honest . . .

I'd rather have the mix you did yesterday live @ TWSTD.  Cool
