BTW, I'm one of those ppl. I thought a LOT of the symbolism was great. As far as the Son of Superman thing... it's true... Superman 2. He could make her forget, but he couldn't take back his actions. I remember watching an interview of Margot Kidder saying that—in retrospect—Superman and Lois probably shouldn't have had premarital sex in S:II--Superman being a symbol of morality and all.
