I asked about this before but i didnt mention the free thing. everything i went to you had to pay, and i dont really want to do that at the time. Is there any free site that does something like this?

check mydjspace.com. think they have 150mb space for free.
also consider buying some webspace. i know there are a few places that you can get a decent amount of space and bandwith for like 5 bucks amonth. talk with some guys guys here and see if you can get someone to make a very very simple 1-3 (main/small bio, mixes, contact) page for you.

if all you care about is getting a link out to people then just use mediafire.com

kind of like yousendit, just no limit to file sizes or number of downloads.  they don't even post a time limit for your file and you can upload multiple files at a time.   i really like it and its fast and easy.

when looking at getting a website remember a few things.
1: its gonna take awhile to get some traffic, be patient and put your website on everything.
2: go simple for your site. dont spend HUGE amounts of time making it. people generally want to just grab the mix and listen. make sure to include tracklisting
3: start small for bandwidth and space. i had 5gb of space and 10gb of bandwidth and never used but about 10% of them.
