Okay i have decided, I took some time offline to have a think and pray.
 
God has been a little cagey, so i figure unless He has something clear to say that choice is mine. 
 
For now,. at least - i am being cautious... the only thing God has said clearly of late is that i should read leviticus!  So maybe i need to stop eating shellfish or generally be aware that God is mighty and sometimes can seem nasty!
 
I am going to pull the website, and the domain, but keep the email account, mearly as an address book... I can re-launch whgen i am back home if i have the time/space/calling etc etc

Wierd words used in that email however. "God has been a little cagey" what does that mean? Is that a British slang? Is he waiting for God to speak audibly and say "Go ahead and do that DJ promo website"? I dunno. Would have been cool to at least give it a try.

This type of CRAP is EXACTLY what I've been complaining about for several years now. Guy made a promise to several people on this site that he would help promote their music. He got some music and he decided that God didn't want him doing that right now.

Be 100% sure and committed to an idea before you take it live. Go for pro. Pour out your heart and soul. Do the best job that you can and if you can't, bring in someone who can pick up your slack. Don't say "I want to do this" unless you are REALLY committed to do it AND you KNOW it's God's will for YOU, not someone else... YOU to do the task. If you can't do this... sit back down and do nothing. PLEASE sit down and do nothing. We don't need any other half done projects like this!

well hopefully dj404's project will fill this gap.. but yes I agree, Guy got the benefit of a lot of free music and rather than maybe making it an email only distro for the time being while he is having technical problems, he just quits.   

Unfortunately, in the Christian scene (not just dance, a lot of different areas) we have people who seem to have this attitude that because no one else is doing it we don't have to do it with excellence.   If Guy had tried to do this in the secular world, he would have never gotten any music probably, and if he had, if he had bailed like this he would probably be facing some sort of repurcussions for not delivering what he had promised to the labels and the djs...
