Here is a new one you may find interesting, it's a little more traditional/contemporary like the 1xtra stuff.

They could do with more variety, switch around the kicks and snares a bit and add some rolls. It has got some real potential.
Im not a big drum and Bass fan but I do like some stuff and it is either the mollower stuff like this or old skool ragga jungle style (old ravers never die, lol) that I like. Title: Re: new drum n' bass track Post by: aaroncavanaugh2 on May 09, 2008, 07:16:38 PM Hi Andy,
Since I've been listening to some drum and bass stuff recently for Xfest I figured I would comment here. I likes the Free HEaven song but it needs a bassline harmony. Try the reese bassline generator, it's a free VST on kvraudio.com Also you might check out the mixset I did for Xfest http://www.creukradio.org/tempfolder/djproject3.mp3 The first song I didn't really like because it needs some zing to it. Doubling the intro w/ delay or something and then randomizing the kick at the end of each bar or something like that would make it more interesting to listen to past 1 minute and 30 seconds. Thanks. God Bless. Aaron. |
