Not that I sound like, or like, all of those artists, but they are all considered breakcore, in the sense that Where Old Mix Tapes Go To Die is breakcore. Title: Re: DJ Dual Core - Where Old Mix Tapes Go To Die - April 9 - Breakcore Post by: Mike on April 12, 2008, 11:10:26 PM 8) I am glad you asked Mr. Richards. Breakcore as I know it, is simply Hardcore Techno in a breakbeat form instead of just "boom booom, boom". A perfect example of this is right here
This are the 2 examples I can find, that are close to one of the tracks I heard from DJ Tron back in the day, anyways heres those examples. The first one is a lil racey, so pardon the vid, but theres no swearing on niether vids as far as I can remember. :smiley8: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3SUwj7kygA and the this one is by Rotterdam Terror Corps, its still a Hardcore track, but it has some break beat form elements in it if I am not mistaken. This is sum good way to rok out, I got 2 def make a track like that, but better of course. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cf3B1RhNL2k Title: Re: DJ Dual Core - Where Old Mix Tapes Go To Die - April 9 - Breakcore Post by: djdualcore on April 13, 2008, 11:51:21 PM you're just being technical. By "being" do you mean to be describing by general state, on an ongoing basis, or simply identifying a conditioning element of one or more of my previous statements? Title: Re: DJ Dual Core - Where Old Mix Tapes Go To Die - April 9 - Breakcore Post by: Mike on April 21, 2008, 07:29:31 PM 8) i WANNA hear BASSDRUM.
Title: Re: DJ Dual Core - Where Old Mix Tapes Go To Die - April 9 - Breakcore Post by: Dave Richards on April 21, 2008, 07:36:16 PM Dude... seriously, if you like that crap... and it is crap, then you have no taste.
Ugh... Title: Re: DJ Dual Core - Where Old Mix Tapes Go To Die - April 9 - Breakcore Post by: Mike on April 21, 2008, 09:10:34 PM :'( :'( :'( :'( I was just joking around, prolly wasnt the best thing to do. Yes I like Hardcore, aka as "crap" and I when I am in the mood for it, your correct about not having any taste, that is not having a taste for other music at that particular moment. Everyone has their own opinion on music, some ppl didnt like Metallica or Nirvana, but there were and is still ppl who buy thier music and see Metallica in concert. I dont like Electro that much, in fact I can say majority of it sounds like crap, prolly because it is. But my opinion wont stop producers from making it or ppl dancing to it, and it wont stop DJ's from spinning it either. No offense to anyone who likes or spins it, thats just my opinion on it, and there is some tolerable Electro that cannot be denied, and it is good.
