What's kept you from moving to a place where there is work? What's keeping you where you are?

Your not the only one on this site with money problems, but almost all of the people with money problems seem to have similar ones.

It's hard to believe that a grocery store would turn you down for a job if you're willing to work minimum wage AND that it's either work for them or starve. Esp if you aren't picky about what job position you have there.

So, what keeps you from getting a decent job? Seriously. What's holding you back.

I may have a better job now (and working 2 jobs) but for a while I was surviving  off of 7.50 an hour. A whooping .25 cents more than minimum wage. And I have WAY more bills.

What I'm saying is, it's possible to survive off a minimum wage job. At least for a while. Stop e-mailing COMPANIES and go to the dinky teenaged infested jobs.

A crappy profit is better than a zero profit.

i help hire for grocery stores.  We hire you if you wanna work.  may be low pay to start, but if you work hard you can quickly move up the ladder...or you can look for another job while you are there.

try a temp agency too.  lots of warehouse packing jobs for 10 bucks an hour on third shift.

warehousing can be hard, but it can also pay REALLY well. talk with people in your church man, im sure someone is a business owner that could at least give you some hours during the week.

If I knew the answer to that question, I wouldn't have asked for help. (notice the period)

I gave all the rest of the money in my name, in my offering yesterday at church...since I believe in tithing my 10% to the lord, and giving first fruits.

...since then, I knew I was in expectancy of something from God to happen, I was telling Mike last night...the only way is up now...

This morning, my uncle comes by the house, telling me he just took out a loan so that he could help me start my own lawn business, and this afternoon, I went to look at a Truck that he wanted me to trade my car in for... its a really nice 2000 Dodge Dakota Sport, so I'll be getting that tomorrow.....never had a truck before, so this should be very interesting..

PRAISE GOD, Thank you Jesus! and once more, again, thank you guys for your prayers.

great, man, its spring time, so bust a move and get to mowing some lawns.  Get good reliable equipment, present a professional image and get some customers.

I already know some ideas, but if you want, I'll ask an old classmate what he did to grow his business, cause he's doing very well.
